Parent Carer Voice is led by a Steering group of parents in Herefordshire who are working alongside the Local Authority and Health partnerships (ICS) to ensure that the needs of Children & Young People up to the age of 25 years with Additional & Special Educational Needs are being met.

Our regular groups are held across the county at different locations everyone is invited to attend – including children and siblings – and provide local information and access to our lending library

Get involved
When you join the PCV mailing list you will be asked for information about your family that will enable us to build up a picture of the our community of young people with disabilities or additional needs and their families. This information is important in our discussion with service providers and commissioners and will help to identify the level of need and gaps in provision. When you join the mailing list you will receive regular updates from us about our work and opportunities to have a voice locally and nationally, as well as lots of useful information from the SEND world.


What is an
I Count for Carers Card?
The I Count Card issued is intended to help family carers identify themselves. What can it be used for? Easily obtaining concessions, reduced or free membership, entry or goods. Local Businesses such as leisure centers’, therapist and solicitors have signed up to the scheme and offer various discounts, How do I get one? Sign up as a member of Parent Carer Voice, either by the link found on Facebook or speak to a Parent Carer Rep.
